Baseball Recap: Taft Greyhounds vs. Orange Grove Bulldogs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Taft had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Orange Grove Bulldogs by a score of 7-4. For the Greyhounds, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

Gilbert Hinojosa was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Hinojosa was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
