Volleyball Game Preview: Placer Hillmen vs. Roseville Tigers + How To Watch

Placer is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Roseville is on an 11-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Hillmen will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Placer had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Del Campo on Thursday. The Hillmen were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars.

Placer's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Delaney Wells led the charge by getting seven digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Wells a new career-high.

Roseville won the last time they faced Yuba City and Brylie Beltran did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Honkers on Thursday thanks in part to Beltran, who had 16 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

The victory didn't come easy: Yuba City scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

Placer's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Roseville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
