Mount Tabor has gone a perfect 10-0 against Parkland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Spartans will square off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mount Tabor has three straight wins, Parkland has 18 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Mount Tabor and Reagan had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Spartans blew past the Raiders 3-0 on Thursday. Considering Mount Tabor have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sophie Wyshner and Sloane Whalen scored all three of Mount Tabor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Meanwhile, Parkland fell victim to Davie and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the War Eagles, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, Parkland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 428th, while Davie are ranked 81st).

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Mount Tabor, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3-2.

Everything went Mount Tabor's way against Parkland when the teams last played back in April, as Mount Tabor made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
