Heritage took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Columbine, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Rebels on Saturday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Heritage were the better team in the second half.

Aiden Ley and RJ Rajewski scored both of Heritage's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Heritage back to even at 3-3-2. As for Columbine, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2-1.

Heritage has already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Legend on the 30th. As for Columbine, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Chatfield on the 30th.
