Jonah Johnson Game Report: @ Lamar County

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jonah Johnson: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made six total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Rutland still had to take a 19-14 loss at the hands of Lamar County. We hope Friday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Johnson and Rutland will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Hawkinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will enter the matchup having just beaten Lanier County, so the Hurricanes will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
