Soccer Recap: New Bern Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, New Bern was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the J.H. Rose Rampants by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for New Bern in their meetings with J.H. Rose: they've now lost five in a row.

New Bern's goal came courtesy of Kyi Pooh, who's now up to two this season.

New Bern's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for J.H. Rose, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-3 record this season.
