Baseball Recap: Seneca Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Seneca, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Branson Pirates with a sharp 12-2 victory on Monday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Seneca is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Branson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Seneca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Cassville on the 6th. As for Branson, they have also already played their next game, an 8-7 loss against Aurora on the 6th.
