Basketball Recap: Delhi Takes a Loss

Delhi came up into this matchup off a tough 31-point defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Mangham Dragons by a score of 55-52 on Tuesday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Delhi's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mangham, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Delhi will take on Delhi Charter in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mangham and Franklin Parish will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Mangham knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Franklin Parish likes a good challenge.
