Basketball Recap: Morgan County Takes a Loss

Morgan County lost against Elliott County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Morgan County Cougars took an 83-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elliott County Lions. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Elliott County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan County will take on Rowan County at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elliott County, they will head out on the road to square off against Phelps at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
