Softball Recap: South San Antonio Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South San Antonio can now relate to. They fell just short of the Smithson Valley Rangers by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

South San Antonio's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Smithson Valley, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1.

As of now, neither South San Antonio nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
