Basketball Recap: Minneota Comes Up Short

After flying high against Canby last Friday, Minneota came back down to earth. The Minneota Vikings had to suffer through an 82-41 loss at the hands of the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-53 back in January.

Minneota's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-3.

As of now, neither Minneota nor Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg have any future games scheduled.
