Meadowbrook barely beat Circleville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colts put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp  3-0 win on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Colts sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 While Meadowbrook won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20,  25-22.
 Nora Smithberger paced Meadowbrook's offense, picking up 13 kills. Smithberger got some help from  Addy Sichina and her 30 assists. Finally,  Lyla Thompson kept Meadowbrook's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Meadowbrook's record now sits at 20-2. As for Circleville, their defeat  ended  a  six-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-6.
 Meadowbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against West Holmes on the 14th. As for Circleville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Fairfield Union on the 16th.
