Baseball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Maranatha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Baldwin Bulldogs, falling 20-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Caleb Cronin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Maranatha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Baldwin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Maranatha Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baldwin, they will welcome Harmon at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
