Basketball Game Preview: North Jackson Chiefs vs. Plainview Bears

North Jackson is 0-9 against Plainview since November of 2014 but things could change on Tuesday. The North Jackson Chiefs will head out to square off against the Plainview Bears at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Jackson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 65-54 win over New Hope.

Meanwhile, Plainview waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Tigers 48-29. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Tigers are ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got North Jackson back to even at 14-14. As for Plainview, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

North Jackson took a serious blow against Plainview when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 59-26. Can North Jackson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
