Softball Game Preview: Burlingame Panthers vs. Gunn Titans

Burlingame is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Gunn a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Burlingame Panthers will host the Gunn Titans at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Burlingame after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 5-1 to Aragon.

Burlingame saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madeline Koo, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Sequoia hit Gunn with a four-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Titans came up short against the Ravens, falling 11-3.

Tess Bogart was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Gunn, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
