Lovelady never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Oakwood Panthers as Lovelady made off with a 14-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Lovelady is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. Oakwood is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lovelady Lions duke it out with Centerville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lovelady is facing Centerville at the right time seeing as Centerville is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Oakwood, they will welcome Grapeland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
