Baseball Recap: Arrowhead Christian Wins Going Away Against Ontario Christian

Arrowhead Christian won the last time they faced Ontario Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Bobby Mahoney tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Arrowhead Christian is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Diesel Toth and Daniel Rivera did most of the damage at the plate: Toth scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Rivera scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Moses Trejo was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Arrowhead Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ontario Christian struck out 11 times.

Arrowhead Christian's record now sits at 12-9. As for Ontario Christian, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Arrowhead Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
