Basketball Recap: Racine Park Comes Up Short

Racine Park played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 75-49 to the Franklin Sabers. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Sabers from their previous meeting back in February.

Despite the loss, Racine Park still got an impressive performance from Leylanna Cruz, who went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points. Thanks to that strong game, Cruz now owns an excellent 47.4% shooting accuracy.

This is the second loss in a row for Racine Park and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Racine Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-50 win against Burlington on the 13th. As for Franklin, they will be home for the holidays to greet Milwaukee Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
