Baseball Recap: Weaver Bearcats vs. Randolph County Tigers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedar Bluff, Weaver was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Randolph County Tigers. The game was the first time the Bearcats have beaten the Tigers on their field since March 19, 2019.

Tucker Michaels was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February.
