Preview: Airline Vikings vs. Bossier Bearkats
Airline is 2-8 against Bossier since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Airline Vikings are on the road again and play against the Bossier Bearkats at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Airline will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Bossier is ranked 39th).
Last Tuesday, Airline was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Evangel Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Bossier was the victim of a rough 56-33 defeat at the hands of Captain Shreve on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bossier has scored all season.
Airline bumped their record down to 5-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bossier, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Airline ended up a good deal behind Bossier in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, losing 62-45. Can Airline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
