Football Recap: St. Francis Golden Knights vs. Cathedral Phantoms

Cathedral found their leader in sophomore Jaden Jefferson, who rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Those 149 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Jefferson.
St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cathedral, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
St. Francis will host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cathedral, they will head out on the road to take on St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cathedral is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
