Preview: Morrow Mustangs vs. Mundy's Mill Tigers
Two dominant guards in Mikayla Dunston and Joshlynn Mcclarin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Morrow Mustangs on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Mundy's Mill Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Friday, Morrow came up short against Alcovy and fell 55-47.
Meanwhile, Mundy's Mill also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Jonesboro by a score of 39-31.
Morrow has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record this season. As for Mundy's Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
Morrow won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, slipping by Mundy's Mill 47-46. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Mcclarin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
