Basketball Recap: Frederick Gunn Victorious

Frederick Gunn hadn't done well against Taft School recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Frederick Gunn Highlanders walked away with a 50-40 win over the Taft School Big Red. The Highlanders' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Among those leading the charge was Kas Mirza, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Adrien Quiros was another key player, putting up seven points.

Frederick Gunn's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Taft School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Frederick Gunn has already played their next match, a 61-58 defeat against Pomfret School on the 25th. Taft School has also already played their next game (against Choate Rosemary Hall School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
