Basketball Recap: Hancock Eagles vs. Brooks Eagles

The Hancock Eagles had to suffer through a 70-31 loss at the hands of the Brooks Eagles. Hancock was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
Brooks was led to victory by Bryce Hayes and Elijah Curl. Hayes went 9 of 10 on his way to 18 points and three steals, while Curl went 7 for 9 en route to 15 points. That's the most points Curl has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bradley Pike, who posted eight points.
Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Brooks, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Hancock will welcome Ellison at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ellison has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 208 points over their last three games. Brooks has already played their next contest, a 63-34 victory against Richards on the 25th.
