Liberty came up into this matchup off a tough 26-point defeat on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Glass by a score of 47-44 on Tuesday. The Minutemen have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, Staunton River entered their tilt with Lord Botetourt on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cavaliers 45-43.

Staunton River's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Liberty, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-2.
