Basketball Recap: Lee Academy Comes Up Short

Lee Academy lost against Conway Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lee Academy Cavaliers took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conway Christian Eagles.

Conway Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brailin Barnhill, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Crawford, who posted 12 points.

Lee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Conway Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.

Lee Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Conway Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
