Volleyball Recap: Logan Elm's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Logan Elm entered their tilt with Westfall on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Logan Elm never let Westfall on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-19.

Claire King paced Logan Elm's offense, picking up 15 kills. King got some help from Kennedy Groff and her 22 assists. Groff also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sadie Binkley, racking up two apiece.

Logan Elm's record is now 4-0. As for Westfall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan Elm will challenge Teays Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Westfall, they will head out to face off against Piketon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
