Recap: West Cowboys vs. Eastmoor Academy Warriors
The West Cowboys pushed their score all the way to 68 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastmoor Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (59), West still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastmoor Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than King Moody, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Wooden, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
West dropped their record down to 7-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastmoor Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastmoor Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the 76ers at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Independence is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
