It was a good run, but Woodland Regional unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 6-2 to the Notre Dame Green Knights.

Woodland Regional got a good showing from Jack Napoleone, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Napoleone has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Jason Beaudry was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Woodland Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Notre Dame, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Woodland Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame, they will take on Wilbur Cross at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Green Knights are facing the Governors at the right time seeing as the Governors are stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
