Soccer Recap: Lafayette's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Lafayette finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Taylor County Bulldogs, falling 4-0. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Lafayette's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Taylor County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4-1.

Lafayette will venture away from home to challenge Williston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor County, they will welcome Jefferson County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.
