Basketball Game Preview: Tinora Rams vs. Fairview Apaches

Tinora is 2-8 against Fairview since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Rams will host the Apaches at 7:30 p.m.

Tinora is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since December 2, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Edon by a score of 46-43. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 608th, while the Bombers are ranked 291st).

Meanwhile, Fairview came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Tigers. The 42-point effort marked the Apaches' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Tinora, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Tinora strolled past Fairview when the teams last played back in January of 2025 by a score of 55-38. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Apaches turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
