Basketball Recap: St. Michaels Comes Up Short

St. Michaels was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-13 loss at the hands of the Kent County Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-5 back in December of 2024.

Kent County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Love Jackson led the charge by putting up 14 points. Jayla Sisco was another key player, posting 12 points and three steals.

St. Michaels' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Kent County, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-10.

St. Michaels has already played their next game (against Easton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kent County, they have already played their next match, a 39-30 victory against Colonel Richardson on the 4th.
