Basketball Recap: Algona Comes Up Short

Algona lost against St. Edmond back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Algona Bulldogs lost 82-61 to the St. Edmond Gaels. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Algona's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for St. Edmond, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Algona has already played their next matchup (against Webster City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Edmond has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against West Bend-Mallard.
