Softball Recap: Greenwich Country Day Takes a Loss

Greenwich Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Rye Country Day Wildcats, falling 17-6.

Greenwich Country Day saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Schwartz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Greenwich Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rye Country Day, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Greenwich Country Day is taking a road trip to face off against St. Luke's at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Storm have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Rye Country Day, they will be playing at home against Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
