T.W. Andrews had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 50 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Lexington Yellowjackets as they made off with a 59-37 victory. The Red Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 22 points or more this season.

T.W. Andrews was led to victory by Janiya Milligan and Sanai' Johnson. Milligan dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards, while Johnson posted 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Johnson has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jana Brown, who had five points and four steals.

Lexington's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Ervin, who scored 13 points. Jordyn Dearmon was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

T.W. Andrews' win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. As for Lexington, they moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

T.W. Andrews and Lexington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. T.W. Andrews will take on Morehead at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 471 places (97 vs. 568). T.W. Andrews' defense has only allowed 20.8 points per game this season, so Lexington's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Lexington (ranked 134th) will meet North Rowan (ranked 487th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. T.W. Andrews is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.8 points per game this season.
