Volleyball Game Preview: Lewis & Clark Tigers vs. Ferris Saxons + How To Watch

The Lewis & Clark Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Ferris Saxons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lewis & Clark is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Ridgeline. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ridgeline scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Ferris came up short against Central Valley on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Saxons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 25-18 in the first set.

Ferris started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-13, 25-12, 25-21.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Lewis & Clark, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Lewis & Clark was able to grind out a solid victory over Ferris when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
