Basketball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 53-43 to the Glen Lake Lakers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Lakers are ranked 32nd).

It was another big night for Jacob Plamondon, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 18 boards for Glen Lake. The match was Plamondon's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Benji Allen, who posted eight points.

Frankfort now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Glen Lake, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankfort will host Benzie Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glen Lake, they will be playing at home against Suttons Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
