Volleyball Recap: Marian Catholic Gets the Win

Marian Catholic posted their closest victory since September 28, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Wilmington Wildcats 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Despite the loss, Wilmington still got an impressive performance from Sami Liaromatis, who had 16 digs.

Marian Catholic now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wilmington, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Marian Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seneca on the 30th. As for Wilmington, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Oak Forest on the 30th.
