Volleyball Recap: Portage Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Portage was the 3-0 winner over Conemaugh Valley when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Jays on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Portage was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Conemaugh Valley work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Jacey Crowe was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 15 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Portage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Conemaugh Valley, their record is now 6-11-1.
