Softball Recap: Napoleon Triumphs

Napoleon proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 12) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Paulding Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since May 8, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Addy Thompson Jr), who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Napoleon now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Paulding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Napoleon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-1 victory against Southview on the 14th. As for Paulding, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-0 win against Holgate on the 14th.
