Football Recap: George County Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Wyatt Spidahl and Branden Gautier + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, George County was not quite Greene County's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 29-23 to the Wildcats. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Branden Gautier and Wyatt Spidahl certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Gautier rushed for 165 yards, while Spidahl threw for 88 yards and a pair of TDs.

George County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Greene County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, George County will take on Wayne County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greene County, they will challenge Vancleave at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
