Volleyball Recap: McIntosh Comes Up Short

McIntosh lost against Alpharetta two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chiefs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

McIntosh couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Alpharetta a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 30-28, 20-25, 25-17.

McIntosh's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Alpharetta, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, McIntosh will square off against Blessed Trinity at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Alpharetta, they will head out to face off against St. Pius X Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
