Volleyball Recap: Wauseon Comes Up Short

Wauseon lost against Pettisville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Blackbirds. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 13-25, 25-10.

Despite the loss, Wauseon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anaya Gonzales had ten digs and three aces.

Wauseon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Pettisville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Wauseon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Archbold on the 16th. As for Pettisville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Gorham Fayette on the 18th.
