Baseball Recap: Dysart Triumphs

While Dysart's win against Coronado wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Demons skirted past the Dons 6-4. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Eduardo Carranza was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Javier Hernandez-Olaiz, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

The win got Dysart back to even at 8-8. As for Coronado, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dysart is set to challenge their familiar foe Cortez at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Coronado will take on rival Desert Sunrise at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
