Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East lost against Ursuline back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. East fell 47-40 to the Ursuline Fighting Irish. East has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Ursuline, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East has already played their next match (against Lakeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ursuline will face off against West Branch at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. West Branch will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Ursuline surely won't give up without a fight.
