Baseball Recap: Box Elder Find Success

Box Elder won the last time they faced Bonneville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bees walked away with a 9-4 win over the Lakers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bees.

Jensen Kennedy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Box Elder is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-15 otherwise.

At the plate, Judd Howells was incredible, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 2-for-3. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. Easton Green also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Box Elder lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Box Elder's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Bonneville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

As of now, neither Box Elder nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
