Basketball Recap: West De Pere Comes Up Short

After flying high against Seymour last Friday, West De Pere came back down to earth. The West De Pere Phantoms took a hard 96-81 fall against the Hortonville Polar Bears on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Phantoms in their matchups with the Polar Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

West De Pere's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Hortonville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

West De Pere will welcome Menasha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West De Pere has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Hortonville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025.
