Softball Game Preview: Gridley Bulldogs vs. Lassen Grizzlies

The Gridley Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Lassen Grizzlies at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gridley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Gridley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lassen as they made off with an 18-5 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaydenze Pruitt made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Pruitt was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
