Softball Recap: Delta Bobcats vs. Oran Eagles
Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Oran Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Delta has lost by exactly 15 runs.
For Oran's part, Molly Spane was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Spane was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two runs.
In other batting news, Oran got a massive performance out of Ava Forehand, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Mari Fuemmeler, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Oran, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
