Trinity Leadership had won five straight games and Matthew Maiden did his part to make it six on Thursday. The Trinity Leadership Tigers ended the year with a bang, routing the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles 67-41 thanks in part to Maiden, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Wilmer-Hutchins lost, don't look at Dezmond Williams. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 10 on his way to 20 points. That was a full 48.8% of Wilmer-Hutchins' points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dorien Brown, who put up seven points.
